Regenerative
Regenerative Medicine
Your Biology. Directed by a Physician.
Regenerative medicine uses your body's own biologic material, delivered with precision, to support tissue health and function. At Tone & Core, these are physician-performed procedures, not spa treatments and not products sold off a shelf.
Every regenerative procedure here begins with a physician evaluation, is planned around your individual findings, and is discussed with you honestly, including what it can reasonably be expected to do and what it cannot.
The Approach
Working With Your Own Biology
Regenerative procedures are built on a simple idea. Your body already contains the biologic material involved in repair and maintenance.
Platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood, nothing synthetic and nothing from a donor
Real-time ultrasound imaging used during appropriate portions of the procedure
Dr. Vargas performs the procedure himself rather than delegating it to a technician
Candidacy determined through in-person evaluation, never over the phone
Treatment parameters decided case by case rather than applied from a fixed template
Honest discussion of limits before anything is scheduled
We are direct about what regenerative medicine is not. These procedures are not a cure for every condition, response varies from patient to patient, and improvement cannot be predicted, promised, or guaranteed. We would rather tell you that up front than have you learn it after you have paid for something.

What We Offer
Our Regenerative Services
Two physician-directed regenerative programs, each evaluated individually and appropriate for some patients and not others.
Candidacy for either program is determined through physician evaluation. Aesthetic treatments that use platelet-rich plasma, including PRP facial rejuvenation and PRP hair restoration, are covered separately under Aesthetics and the Men's Lounge.
Our Standard
Four Things That Do Not Change
Physician Performed
Dr. Vargas performs these procedures himself. You are not handed to a technician after the consultation.
Ultrasound Guided
Real-time ultrasound imaging is used during appropriate portions of the procedure to visualize relevant anatomy and improve precision.
Autologous Material
Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from your own blood by concentrating platelets and their associated biologic factors. Nothing synthetic, nothing from a donor.
Individualized Planning
Treatment parameters are determined case by case and discussed with you as part of treatment planning, not applied from a fixed template.
Individual response varies. No outcome is promised or guaranteed, and treatment suitability is always determined through medical evaluation.
Your First Step
It Starts With an Evaluation
Your visit begins with a conversation about your history, your symptoms, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to accomplish. We review any relevant imaging or records you bring with you.
We examine the area of concern and evaluate your current status in person. This is how candidacy is determined. It is not something that can be decided over the phone or from a form.
We tell you whether a regenerative approach is reasonable for your situation. If it is not, we say so, and we tell you what we think would serve you better.
If you are a candidate and wish to proceed, we review the procedure, the associated costs, and realistic expectations with you before anything is scheduled.
The procedure is performed by Dr. Vargas with ultrasound guidance where appropriate, followed by aftercare guidance and follow-up appropriate to what was done.
Candidacy
Is This Appropriate for You?
Regenerative procedures are appropriate for some patients and not for others. That determination is made through evaluation, not over the phone and not from a questionnaire.
If a regenerative procedure is not the right answer for your situation, we will tell you, and we will tell you what we think is.
Next Step
Schedule Your Regenerative Consultation
Regenerative medicine is only as good as the physician performing it.
If you are considering a regenerative procedure, the first step is a conversation with the physician who would be performing it. We will tell you what is realistic, what it involves, and whether it is right for you.
Individual results may vary. Treatment suitability is determined through medical evaluation.
